The color red, the color of blood, the color of conquest, the color of Kambria Lord Raquel Lorant smiles greedily as the battle cry of his conquering nation of Kambria reverberates across the continent. With each month, the surrounding sovereignties are consumed by the red drake of Kambria and left quivering under its banners, reduced to ashes, and crushed under its advance. In the midst of the march, a more insidious tactic is called forth - the summoning of a Line Breaker.

Lurking within the timeless elements of good and evil, the Ghost Sword, Dendrias Rakk, works his bloody craft. A shadow, he roams the streets in the comfort of courtesans and crowns. The trophy of the slain, their head and their rings, presented to the hirer. Dendrias kills on contract. He kills for the privileges of others. He kills for a secret known only to himself.

Although hired alone, it is the unlikely partnership imposed upon Dendrias that will culminated in the contract's final conclusion. Perhaps the entire world grows gray as the minutes turn to hours and the hours to days.
