The Ghost Shift

At exactly 3:16 PM, Willowmere Primary School dies.

But as the living students head home, the "Ghost Shift" is just beginning. For Edgar Fitch, a punctual spirit in a 1987 Ghostbusters t-shirt, it's just another evening of Advanced Moaning lessons and avoiding the severe eye of Headmistress Grimshaw.

However, when his impulsive friend Poppy "borrows" a top hat and some magic props from the living world's drama cupboard, the delicate rules that keep the dead and the living apart begin to crumble. Marcus Webb, a Year 6 boy and struggling magician, is desperate to find his missing gear before the school talent show.

Now, Edgar and his friends must decide: do they stay in the shadows and follow the rules, or do they risk everything to help a living boy find his magic? In a school where history is literally walking the halls, Edgar might just find that helping someone else is the key to finally finishing his own "Unfinished Business".
