There was the note stuck in the door - there's a body out there in that old shack.
Sure enough there was a body - what there was left - after six months.
Stepping out on the back porch of the old shack, Buford observed a number of crows in the nearby tree - somewhat perplexed, Buford muttered, "Well hello there."
In answer to his greeting, six crows, lit at his feet - flopped upside down and began to plead for mercy - "Please" - "Please" - "Please."
Buford slammed the back door - sped past the decaying body - slammed the front door - and went back to town! Somewhat Shaken! Resolving to find some answers!
