Ian goes for a run while touring in outback Australia. Somehow he gets lost and is unable to find a way back to his camp site. After several days, he is near death when an old man appears and guides him to safety then disappears. Nobody knows who that old man is. The story becomes more strange when Ian is later able to assist the search teams locate other lost tourists when he receives dreams of where they might be and is again guided by the old man. When the police begin full investigations to locate the mystery man, they discover that he died two years earlier. But Ian now seems to have some strange psychic powers and assists the police in several other mysterious disappearances.
