After making a fatal mistake on the job, Lina Zuendel seeks shelter in a Seattle assisted-living facility as their live-in nurse. But peace is not what she finds. She soon hears tales of ghosts... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Molly is a gifted writer. This novel is witty, spooky, fun, and romantic. It has atmosphere. It makes me want to curl up in front of a fireplace and sip hot cocoa. It's my favorite ghost story and one of my favorite romances. If you're looking for a good read, look no further. You just found it. Doralynn
Lots of fun

I really enjoyed this... Well, I guess the other reviews have already given this away, and the title might have provided a teensy clue, but there's a ghost in this story. And if you have to be a ghost tied to haunting a single building, especially if you're a young heterosexual male ghost, well, it might as well be a sorority house. Alas, things begin to get less interesting for our ghost in the 1960s, when the sorority house becomes a senior citizens' home. The story begin about 40 years later, when the ghost is tiring of his limited immortality just as Lina, the young, guilt-ridden, lonely protagonist, enters his, er, life. Unlife. Oh, and to complicate matters, there's another ghost... not nearly so innocuous.
A Ghost In the House - What Would You Do?

I just learned of this title's release and I'm thrilled. I read this intelligent and loving piece on-line, about two years ago and I've never forgotten it. I found mystery, romance, tragedy and unforgettable characters. The suspense is remarkable and, dare I say, a jealous spirit hovers over the house. And Ren, a young man whose history enthralls the reader page after page. A question I asked myself while reading this was, what the heck would I do in her shoes, or his shoes and for that matter, all of the residents' shoes? A must read!
You won't be able to put it down!

Like Kate, I was able to read a pre-release version of The Ghost Downstairs and it's one of the most captivating books I've read in years. The characters are magnificent, the story hooks you from the first page, and Molly Ringle's writing style is spellbinding. As far as I'm concerned, this novel is a must-read. Can't wait to rediscover the mysterious tale this talented author weaves all over again!
Smart Ghost Romance!

The Ghost Downstairs was listed today, and I pre-ordered four copies! I was lucky enough to read a preview copy, and loved it. This is a smart, sexy romp, about a young man haunting...an old sorority house (what else?!). An intelligent writer, Molly Ringle is a delight to read. Put down Twilight, and pick up a copy of this engaging, supernatural charm!
