Lark and Arch Rollins are reeling from nearly being killed by a madman in the historical town of Jonesborough, Tennessee. Now, before they can recover from the shocking events surrounding the Fourth of July, Lark is called upon to return to Roan Mountain. The reason is not to enjoy the peace of the mountains or see old friends. The call to return to the mountain is to speak to someone about two recent deaths. The answers she must find will not come from the local County Sheriff's Department, the residents of Roan Mountain, the victims of recent attacks, or the even the members of the infamous Roan Mountain Ghost Choir.
