The Ghor

Clarice Dupont picks up a strange radio message from the cosmos, but then becomes unconscious. The Ghor have heard Earth's radio broadcasts for a hundred years and have replied at last. They communicate by the transfer of pure thought and their messages to Earth are layered with complexity which impacts the human brain.

Clarice tells fellow astronomer Jordan Zeigler and they join a team at NASA to investigate this first contact. They realise that the Ghor are on their way to Earth but there is uproar from fear of the unknown as humanity decides how it should treat the aliens. The Ghor land and Clarice seems to have a special connection with them, but they regard humans as merely a source of fresh meat. Can the Ghor be convinced that human culture and morality has a value, and will the aliens listen and humanity be spared?
