Excellent Overall

For an older book, I have found this book to be quite eyeopening indeed. I have had an interest in the Third Reich since at least 1955 but have never really "gotten into" the Kriegsmarine. The information, though somewhat dated, is well written and all in all, a very interesting treatise on the WWII German Navy. I recommend it as a good read!
