The Geometry of Belief, separated into four parts, takes a close look at mental health, infatuation, childhood, death, and self-worth. Beginning with the idea that a person might subtly shift into an unrecognizable monster and ending with a subtle ray of hope, these poems speak intimately about relationships, both familial and romantic, including the relationship a person has with themself. We are all born with the desire and ability to like ourselves, but this collection looks at how trauma, identity crisis, and emotional abuse can alter the way we experience self-perception.
