Hannibal had to take elephants over the Alps to meet Silvia.

Every discipline assumes history is created and moved by it. In their book, it is Geography. We see how natural barriers and different terrains separate people and cause wars. This is not a cut-and-dry book and includes factors such as vegetation and climate. Alice would like this book as she says, ''What is the use of a book, thought Alice, without pictures or conversations?” This book has 74 Sketch-Maps and Diagrams; most of them showing borders of towns and nations. This is from early times to the present (1965)
