Modern Jungle cave tribe story

I met John Nance in Portland when showing his slide show of 'Tasaday' from remote jungle tribe, he was amazed & enchanted by their openess & awareness there, explaining details how they lived with beautiful B+W photos to prove they're real small cave commune. He visited them for many days & book explains the politics of getting into & out of primeval forest jungle, so remote from villagers who didn't know they existed, living on wild raw foods, fruit & nuts, cooked frogs & rare pig, The relationships between them living communally we can see the happiness of children, i found in 2 cooperative communes with children in NW US in 1970s wild hippies, not native forest dwellers. The Tasaday's were mostly naked, open, peaceful, caring & living outdoors in hot jungle under huge canopy, rarely seeing much sky, stars & big animals. This book is a classic ethnography as journalism reporting the only cave tribe of 20th century i think. It seems too 'real' for anthropology to get into their primal living needs in jungle.
