When career soldier Lt. Dan Carter is suddenly discharged from the British Army without warning or reason, he returns home to face the grim reality that his wife and children have left, his house has been repossessed, and he faces a future of unemployment and dead-end jobs. As his own safety and sanity come under threat, Dan must use all of his military training and expertise to protect himself and those around him from a new existential terror that could unleash untold havoc.
