This manual is designed to help both advanced and new students understand how to study the Bible with clarity, depth, and purpose. Using Genesis chapters 1-3-the Bible's opening act-we'll uncover principles that apply to reading any part of Scripture. This book represents a journey of biblical exploration guided by both scriptural study and divine revelation. Throughout these pages, I will cite sources and Scripture references wherever applicable. However, I must also share that some insights presented here have been revealed to me through prayer and study.
Let me be clear: this is not private interpretation, but rather revelation given through submission to God's Spirit. I am merely the vessel; God is the source. As I have surrendered my hand and mind to His inspiration, He has become the wellspring of these teachings-and such divine guidance cannot be cited in traditional ways.
If you encounter concepts that challenge your current biblical understanding, I ask that you approach them with an open heart, knowing they flow from genuine revelation. Test all things against Scripture, as the Bereans did (Acts 17:11), and allow the Holy Spirit to be your ultimate teacher.
Thank you for your understanding and willingness to learn.
Why Genesis 1-3?
Genesis 1-3 isn't just the beginning of the Bible-it's the beginning of understanding it. These foundational chapters establish three essential truths:
- God is Creator - Everything begins with Him and belongs to Him
- Humanity is image-bearer and responsible - We reflect God's nature and carry divine purpose
- Sin disrupts but doesn't destroy God's plan for redemption - Brokenness entered the world, but restoration was already in motion
When you read the Bible with these parameters in mind-context, relationship, redemption, and application-every chapter becomes a doorway to encounter the living God.
