The Generous Life

If you are a Christian, you are a blessed person; you have a gracious, merciful, and generous God.
Everything that happens in a Christian's life should be recognized as the divine will of God in his life.

God is very, very generous. We know this because of the Scriptures. We also know that God wants us to be like Himself in moral character. We're to be imitators of God, and therefore we too should be extremely generous, sacrificial people.
In fact, not only should believers be more generous, but we ought to expect that God will reward us and bless us accordingly. Those who sow generously have the joy of reaping bountifully; they will bear fruit for the kingdom of God and so bring glory to God.

God, who takes care of birds and lilies, will take proper care of the believer, even when that means suffering and trials.
Those who really do trust in God for the future are content. They know that they'll have enough, and God will take care of them. And sometimes God even splurges on them.
