The General's Tribune Once the Carthaginian forces were removed from Iberia, the reinforcements and supplies for Hannibal Barca dwindled to a trickle. Although made rich from his conquests, the architect of the victory in Iberia retreated to Rome. Too proud to serve under another General, but too young to be a Senator or a Consul/General, Cornelius Scipio acted the part of a civilian.
