It is early 1980s in small belarussian village. Boy named Mikhail just returned home from playing and he tells parents how he befriended another boy called Yuri. After realizing who Yuri was, parents immediately ban Mikhail from playing with Yuri. He is sad and he tries to ignore their ban because he don't know why their friendship is bad. But in background is old story from WW2 because of which Yuri's family is still stygmatized.
