The Generals is an excellent book describing the true Generals and the Fake Generals

In this book the author describes the characteristics of the two different types of generals in the military. Some are egotistical con artists who don’t have the skills to understand the intricacies of leadership. Others are born leaders. Unfortunately there are more former than latter generals. Very well written book!

I've read the bios on these guys before. This approach was interesting: Generals who should have fired other generals or generals who should have been fired themselves. Filled in a lot of gaps in my history knowledge. I recommend.
