In a remote place on the ocean's floor lies the city of Nicotine- a place where drugs, parties, and social media are all provided by the government. Most citizens agree life in Nicotine is pretty awesome when their biggest worries involve picking out the right party to attend or getting a good photo to post. Everyone agrees that Nicotine is the best. Everyone. Everyone, but Byron Lacnote and a few select others who see a different picture. However, like most seventeen-year-olds, Byron has no power and is stuck with the rules. The only chance he has of making a difference is by getting to the upper-class domes.
