The Gates of Love

Some claim that if the tariqa were a path of Truth, people would not leave it. But then, what about Islam? From the moment some people left it: is it the Truth or not the Truth? And what about the messenger of Allah ﷺ? From the moment some broke their commitment to him, is it the Truth or not the Truth? Just the day the Qibla was changed, how many people abandoned their religion? And the day he ﷺ returned to the Most Merciful, how many abandoned Islam?

So from the moment Islam emerged in this way, we are but a tiny point imitating and replicating this evolution in the 21st century. The issue does not lie in Islam; the issue lies in the intellect that has failed to understand Islam. As for Islam, it remains Islam.

May Allah guide us. As for tassawuf, it remains tassawuf, the Path of Allah remains the Path of Allah and the Light of Allah remains the Light of Allah.
