The Bible teaches us to "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ". How, though, are we to take captive our thoughts? We need a step-by-step guide to walk us through the capturing of each thought. Beyond that, we need this process to help us make every thought "obedient to Christ."

Gardening our mind is the process we need. Our mind is a garden teeming with life. Some of what grows there is good; some is not. The garden of our minds can be home to weeds. These weeds can overtake our thinking and crowd out what is good. We must learn to pull the weeds. We each have the God-given responsibility to keep and maintain the garden of our minds. No one can do it for us.
