The melody born from silence
"If in 'The Tokyo Melody' I explored chords and reinvention through music, in 'The Garden of Silence' I decided to go back 20 years in time to hear what nature has to tell us.
In this new work, I invite you to discover the origins of Harumi, a young dreamer from the Takayama province. Inspired by the wisdom of Japanese gardens, we follow her journey alongside her father, a humble gardener who teaches her the 'Language of the Leaves'. Through her eyes, we discover that life is like nature: the apparent imperfections, like a crooked branch reaching for the light, are exactly what give charm and harmony to our existence.
As a musician, I have always known that an isolated note means nothing; it is when we join it with silence that it becomes a song - a lesson that Harumi herself carries into her life when she decides to become a garden designer. This book is a tribute to everyone who, amidst the vastness and chaos of cities like Tokyo, has the courage and patience to cultivate their own destiny, waiting for the right time to bloom."
