The Gamma Sector

The Setting:
It's the year 2077. After mankind colonized mars in the late 2020's decades of peace and prosperity for all came to an abrupt end with the Colonial Wars. This new type of war, interplanetary war, saw atrocities on a global scale committed by both sides over it's fifteen year period. In 2067, Earth won it's final victory at the Battle of Mars, effectively ending the Colonial Wars and ushering in a decade of peace. Soon after the war ended, a wartime project was finally completed, and humanity's first "jump drive" was completed, ushering in a period of colonization of worlds outside the Sol System.

With the Alpha and Beta Sectors fully colonized, Earth's world government sets it's eyes on the Gamma Sector, the newest sector of space deemed suitable for human colonization.

The Mission:
