My daughter's book club read this book for their book club and has decided to read the whole series together this summer. I highly recommend this book as a book club selection for girls 8-11 years. It is an easy read (and yet is interesting) and offers many opportunities for further discussion on hard topics to talk about: alpha girls, bullying, true friendships, school drama and dealing with big life changes. It is well written and very engaging.
Chagrin Falls, what can I say?

This is a great book for helping your kids understand how wrong bullying is. I graduated from that high school in the seventies, to know that the clique system remains fully in place in that "charming little village" is horrifying.
Great Book!

My daughter and I both enjoyed reading the two books in this series! They are fun books covering a great topic - it is o.k. not to be like all the "in" girls in school. It is wonderful being who you are, and enjoying life! The author includes how the main character relocated to Chagrin Falls and made a new friend. This beautiful village-town is where the writer now lives. If you are ever in the Cleveland area make sure you visit this charming place!
