The book consists of a collection of legends and tales from different sources that revolve around the great war of two branches of the ancient dynasty of the Kuru clan. The gist of many old scripts reveals there were two cata?strophic moves behind the great war, one disrobing of Draupadi and the second playing game of Dice. Moreover, because of jeal?ousy, greed and overconfidence of Duryodhan, many warriors were insulted, cows looted, cities destroyed, and at last, both the branches of the Kuru clan were destroyed, leading to the end of an era. The war devastated the human race and destroyed their knowledge base, culture, and everything of a sustained life. It would be interesting to know that Lord Krishna was the one who took birth as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu to end the evil powers (Adharma) on the earth.
