Aria Daniels is a day dreaming young woman living in London in 1890. She keeps up her family's book store, looks forward to the new inventions of the time, and longs for an adventure. She finds herself in Gaia, where all the creatures she thought were just myth and legend are real, including a nameless sorcerer who is trying to take over the world. Now she will have to learn about her world's past, contend with becoming something more than human, and try to survive in a world where monsters are living, breathing, and coming for her.

The first in The Gaian Stories, The Gaian Realm begins Aria's journey through Gaia as she learns about this new but familiar world and the beings that inhabit it. Aria wanted an adventure, but Gaia may be more than she bargained for as she finds new friends, learns about magic, and discovers that her dreams weren't just dreams after all.
