This book was written to address the future of the Republican Party from the perspective of a young Latino conservative and take the party on a new path. I begin by telling my story and then directly confront the issues facing the Republican Party today. The core of the book deals with a wide range of economic, social, and political issues. The sections are composed of short essays that critique Republican views and its failures on the messaging of each issue. The overall theme of this work is to encourage my fellow Republicans to be honest and truthful about past mistakes and to come up with ideas that will revive the Republican brand. I have a series of recommendations and want to provide the ground work for this ongoing discussion. In a time when critics believe the Republican Party is out of touch and on the decline, this book will prove them wrong. This book is no manifesto, but should be the guide to coming up with a 21st century platform that can include millennials and other groups that feel excluded from the Republican message. This is a huge project, but the critical thinking and guidance it will take starts with this book.
