Class-based representation is a powerful innovation in political theory that improves role identity in the electorate and agency in the political caste. Class-based representation helps ensure wage discrimination against women and minorities ends when these groups are better able to defend themselves with policy after being concentrated in the below median income legislative chambers. It also aligns the economic interests of elected officials with those of their constituents by establishing income eligibility requirements for candidacy. Only those earning below median wages will be able to win election and advocate for other below median wage earners. This will strengthen the class-based identity in the below median income chamber resulting in better public policy and economic output. With class-based representation, nations will be able to avoid periods of wealth inequality and overcome the instability present in demographic shifts, resulting in a more durable, stable, and equitable nation.
