After thwarting a catastrophic attack on Moscow, the telepathic Hekameses group receives a devastating news. Their leader, Wolfgang M ller is missing and presumed dead. A mysterious USB key, left in a will, holds the secret to uncovering the truth behind Wolfgang's fate.
Acting as an interim leader, Alejandro sends Nirmala back to India and disbands the Novo-Hekameses. Nirmala, loath to return to her mundane life, chooses to live with the ancient and pacifistic Lumanian people in their underground kingdom.

Meanwhile, as the search for Wolfgang continues, Zoya learns that her life is tied to a certain Frozen Saint of Baikal. Distraught, she travels to Siberia in pursuit of the so-called saint. Her journey is fraught with bittersweet adventures, at the end of which, she finds out more than she had bargained for.

After an arduous quest, the Hekameses learn the dark, chilling secrets of their nemesis, the Aifra terrorists. Some friendships are tested while others are strengthened, as new love blossoms. What awaits our heroes in the end, is an ultimate showdown against the full force of their arch-enemy and its ominous leader. Will the Hekameses survive? Will the Lumanians help?
