Good Book

A book of poetry that starts off with one lonely boy and a long bummer summer. He ends up with three new friends and lots of adventures await the four friends. They play, laugh and fight together. Jan Spivey Gilchrist's illustrations appear to be watercolors in the expressionistic style. The illustrations enhance the text and help tell the story of the poems.
