"The Freedom Fighters" is the second book in the three part "The Liberty Chronicles" series. It picks up some time after the events of the first book and finds B at home trying to lead a quiet life at home a midst an ongoing revolution taking place nationwide. After an attack on his home, he quickly decides to take up arms once again against those who would threaten his family and liberty. Outside factors, including the newly restored Republic in Washington, play a large role in the circumstances that put B on a collision course with the leadership of the LGA, (Liberals for a Greater America), the ones responsible for attacking his home as well as being the primary opposition for the revolution. If you liked the first part of this series, you are going to love this next segment. The stakes are higher, the risks are greater and the action is overflowing. A fitting illustration for comparing these two books would be, comparing the Star Wars movies, "A New Hope" and "The Empire Strikes Back".
