A Hero the World Doesn't Want

On Aearth Humans are the enemy, meant to be kept in check. He was never meant to be free, but the gods were either looking away or smiling down on this young man. Hated by those around him, and doubted at every turn. He is on his own.

Railen has a past he hardly remembers. Like all humans on Aearth, he was born into slavery, but when he and his mother are traded to another country, fate has other plans for this boy. His future is in his hands, and all he has to do is be brave enough to raise his chin when his entire life he has been told to bow. A lone free human in a monastery of hardened warriors. What could go wrong?
