The Fox and the Mermaid

At the time before the events of man were recorded, the Ancients comprised and oral history and were responsible for all the events both above the sea and beneath it.

As no name was given to these beings they were simply called "The Council." When an event occurred that would endanger those above and those below "The Council" would intervene, using whatever they had at their disposal.

Dee was born in Rochester New York. Currently, she resides in the Chicago area in a small town called Channahon. One of her grandsons (Nik) lives with her.

Writing rebuttals to Phil Donahue was her training for the craft of writing. Writing fantasy has become her rebuttal of the current situation in the world. The reality of the world is harsh and each of us needs to escape into a fantasy.

Dee has been widowed for many years. The time passed has not diminished her love for her husband (Bill.) Her love for foxes is the driving force of her writing. It is her greatest hope that many readers find their solace in reading her fox tales.
