On May 2, 1945, the fall of Berlin and the capitulation of the German Third Reich took place. Its leader, Adolf Hitler, commits suicide by swallowing a cyanide pill and shooting himself in the temple, or so the official story goes, based on the account of Nazi officials. However, his corpse and that of his wife, Eva Braun, were never found. The Fourth Reich starts from this fact to create an exciting story, where the real and the fictional, the historical and the possible, are mixed to show us with an intense and credible rhythm that everything could have happened differently than we know it today. In its pages are mixed the action of submarine escapes, naval battles, bombings, and international intrigue; and even so, there is room for friendship, love, and romance. Desolate passages in the Argentine Patagonia alternate with scenes in the White House, and through its pages, well-known characters such as Hitler, Harry Truman, and Perón are paraded, as well as simple inhabitants of southern Argentina. Ricardo Montanaro, an Argentine sailor, receives the mission to investigate the possible arrival of Nazi hierarchs to the Patagonian coasts. His work will lead him to find something more important than proof of that presence and unleash a series of terrible events, which will forever alter his life and that of many other people.
