If you will permit, may I introduce you to The Old Queen? She has bid me to invite you on a journey. A journey into the distant past where she will reveal the truth behind the Zep Tepi (First Time)-the founding of Ancient Egypt.

Book 1 sets the stage for our wider story as seen through the eyes of Ahmes, a simple slave. A young woman who fate, the gods, or whatever name you wish to assign the higher forces in the universe chose for something well out of the ordinary.
