For three hundred years, the Seers and the Lowes, two sides of the same coin, have been separated by a barrier after a war that almost led to the extinction of both races. One day, someone came walking through the fountain's portal.

Shaun probably didn't expect to find his wife cheating on him on their anniversary. But when he went to his favorite spot, downtown Buffalo, NY fountain plaza, to clear his head, he certainly didn't expect a half shark-half lion to kidnap him and take him to a strange world.
