This book is the ultimate guide to improving your golf swing. Well written, great instructions, and just all around fun to read. This book was a hit at my last golf tournament and one of the hottest raffle items among all my players. These guys have been golfing for years and said they have already improved parts of their swing by just reading the summary of the book! A must buy for golfers of ALL levels.

A Great Approach

This is a great little book. The advice is simple and direct: Take it easy, don't forget why you are out there on the course (the future history of mankind does NOT ride on your next par). Practice how you play -- don't just fire a large bucket of balls aimlesly at the fence. Most of us will never be able to fix our own mechanical shortcomings. Get a good instructor with whom you can communicate. Ferguson writes well, this book makes a lot good sense and is fun to read.

"In golf, it's not what you forget that really messes you up, it's all the stuff you try to remember." This book helps eliminate the over-analysis that plagues most players. It simplifies the learning process by clearing up the confusion. This book is not about technique. It is about how to feel the golf swing and helps you realize that the ball is not the target. Where you want the ball to go is.
Definite Birdie Opportunity

I've read many "how-to" golf books and I never got much out of them. I just couldn't seem to apply the technical tips and information to my game in any meaningful way. But The Forget-About-It Guide is different. I love the premise... that you don't have to understand the golf swing to become a good golfer. And there are many practical tips, not on how to play the shots, but on how to learn the game efficiently without worrying about all the nuances of technique. This isn't another one of those method of the month books - this one will stand the test of time. It's well researched and written with a personal slant that's both engaging and enlightening. I'd highly recommend it for anyone who wants to lower their scores or learn the game. -Carlos A Perez.
