The Folly of Reko II

By John P. Crocker III

Book Overview

The young monkey prince, R ko II, has a noble legacy to live up to. He was named in honor of a humble, sacrificial king who ruled the kingdom long ago, but R ko pays no attention to the tales of old. Influenced by greedy friends, he sees power as something to seize, and kingship as the authority to dominate others. When his father unexpectedly dies under suspicious circumstances, R ko ascends to the throne, his mind poisoned by arrogance, greed, and vengeance. Only a young, timid ox will pluck up the courage to stand against R ko's folly.
