Has a little bit of everything

This book, in particular, seems to defy genre. It's very staunchly historical fiction, but it's not just that. I wouldn't exactly call it a mystery, but there is a lot of suspense and a lot of thrills. Even at its toughest moments, I couldn't put the book down! There's also a fantasy element due to the flower reading. In an interview, Loupas admits that she ended up making up most of the system on her own, which is incredible, if you ask me. There's also an unsuspecting romance, which is the best kind.
