Corbin Wood is a first-time author with The Flower Outside the Garden. Growing up in various parts of North Carolina throughout his life allowed him to meet many people from all walks of life and mold a life perspective from multiple views of all he is met. He spent his college years in the Appalachian Mountains at Appalachian State University where he found his passion in poetry. From coffee shop reads to open mic nights, he was able to give his writing freedom from the pages and put them out in his small college campus and the world. When he is not writing and working on becoming an award-winning poet, he spends most of his time snowboarding, cooking spaghetti, his favorite food, and daydreaming of retiring in a small ranch in Wyoming writing everyday as the sun goes down. To his friends he is the old soul of the group and known to tuck his shirts deep into his jeans for "fashionable purposes." Corbin currently lives in Raleigh, NC but knowing his gypsy soul he will not be there for long.
