Steve graduated from Bradley University with a BA in Communications. He was a radio personality at WDUK in Havana, Illinois for 8 years. Through the years he wrote for, edited, and compiled a number of newspapers in various capacities. His favorite job was as sports reporter in Posey County, Indiana working for the Posey County News for 23 years. Steve fosters the love of reading in his 19 grand nieces and nephews by giving them bookstore gift cards every year for Christmas. He loves his church and the many friends he has made through the years. Steve has navigated life with these many accomplishments along with his autistic diagnosis.
