Peter Cavendish is an ex RAF Pilot and is asked by Viktor Zelensky, a Russian billionaire living in London, to fly secretly in his light aircraft to Sochi, the Black Sea resort, and rescue his cousin Sergei and his wife on holiday there before they return to Moscow where the FSB plan to assassinate Sergei, who is a scientist working on missiles. After a dangerous and hazardous flight with his co-pilot, Helene Du Bois, Cavendish lands at a small airfield near Sochi and rescues the couple before returning to England after several forced landings in Russia.
