Tess is a sassy and kind kindergarten teacher who is facing a couple of life-altering situations. One: a possible change of career-she just isn't sure what she wants to do. Two: unexpectedly becoming the temporary guardian of her 14-year-old niece for the foreseeable future. After a burst pipe in her apartment leaves her in yet another crisis, Tess has to find a place to stay for a few weeks. When the future of Oakley's career with the Storm hangs in the balance, the prospect of lasting love continues to be a doubt in Tess' mind. Will Tess' fear of love derail her chance at a lasting relationship? Or will Oakley move mountains to show her just how much she deserves to be loved?
