Pleasant low-brow afternoon read

I remember reading this book at my Aunt's apartment almost thirty years ago, and it has always stuck in my mind for some reason. I was happy to find a used copy and re-read. Oh, and it kind of amused me that the price was so high (think I paid $25--guess there's a hot market for used sleaze out there!) Yes, it is a sordid, trashy escape, written for a 9th-grade reading level...but, it's not pretending to be anything other than what it is either.

Wonderful pulp sleaze!

I first read this book almost in its entirety while lurking around some drugstore bookrack when I was 13. Yep, it's that quick a read. Torture, canniblism, public executions, incest, oh, and did I mention cannibalism? The Flesh Eaters has nothing whatsoever to recommend it except that goes right for every cheap thrill in pulp fiction except for gunfights or demolishion derby. And it wins every single time! Read this book to get a real definition of Nasty, Brutish, and Short.

I also read this book years ago,over 20 to be exact. It is the one book i remember to this day. Once you read it you will never forget.

Disturbing look into cannibalism and ritiual incest.

I read this book years ago but it still gives me a chill when I conjure up some of the imagery. C.M.H. material.
