The Flavor of Falling: An Experience in Humility

Most people think salvation is all there is. They don't understand that there is so much more to living the Christian life, and accept mediocrity in their understanding of who God is, and who they are before Him. They certainly don't want the hard lessons that bring about heart-changes, and humility is one of the lessons that give us a reverence for God unlike any other. There are so many examples of it throughout the Bible, and I offer insight into those. I also offer my personal recollection of the road God took us down when my husband prayed for humility in his own life. It's a rare gift when God allows you to see another side of His love, and the flavor is sweet.
