Fifth-grader, Madison became the most laughed at student in her school, having been so heinously bullied that she hated life and dreaded waking up. That all changes when Madison finds herself on the planet Eretsia, where she is crowned as their very own Princess and thought to be the long-awaited Yaqarian. Yet, Madison is not so free from her Earthly horrors as she thinks she is, with her inner turmoil causing her to lose sight of the love for God she once had. This darkness within Madison causes her to commit such a grave sin that the news of it spreads among the Eretsians. If dealing with her own demons wasn't enough, Madison must also escape the murderous grip of the vile and supernatural Ephian, who has various ways of eliminating her and stomping out-for good-that cursed "Yaqarian" dream that the Eretsians take hope in. Wanting to still be that blessing for Eretsia that the Yaqarian is meant to be, Madison is forced to travel with a self-centered user of Oria powers, as they embark on a perilous journey to visit the Orian, the guardian of Eretsia. Will Madison's visit to the Orian make any difference? After all, the Eretsian people, whom she is supposed to bring light to, now hate her and even want her dead.
