The First Thresholds Volume 1: Books 1-4

By Taz Starling

Four adventures. One extraordinary beginning.

At the Templar Guardian Academy, eight-year-old Leo and Maya are learning what it means to become Junior Guardians. Their first lessons soon lead beyond the Academy-into frozen caverns, hidden sanctuaries, ancient passageways, and sea caves where the rising tide leaves little time for mistakes.

From the South Pole to Sarasota, from Xi'an's mysterious Jade Door to Bermuda's puzzling beacon, every mission brings new clues and difficult choices. A convincing answer is not always the right one. Success depends on looking closely, listening to each other, and finding the courage to change their minds.

With trusted Guardians beside them, Leo and Maya discover how curiosity, honesty, and teamwork can turn uncertainty into a helpful next step.

This illustrated collection brings together the first four books in The Templar Guardian Academy:

- The South Pole Sentinel: Mission to the Ice Gate

- The Sarasota Sanctuary: The Tideglass Secret

- The Xi'an Citadel: Secret of the Jade Door

- The Bermuda Beacon: The Three False Routes

Written for children ages 6-9, these fantasy chapter-book adventures invite independent readers and families reading together into a world of secret routes, meaningful friendships, and choices that matter.

Destiny guides. Courage chooses.
