The First Bear

"The First Bear" is a unique children's bedtime story book consisting of three individual stories set in the Forest of the Bears.

The title story, "The First Bear", tells the story of one little bear who didn't like winters at all, and how she figured out a way to sleep through them.

"The First Bumble Bee" is a story about a renegade bee wanting an easier life and a way out of the endless honey making rat race.

"The First Polar Bear" is a bear who is almost the exact opposite of his sister bear in the first story. This bear never much cared for summers, so he sets out to find his land of eternal winter.

What makes these stories so special is that while they are set in a fictional past, they spark the interest of why things are the way they are in nature, and come up with explanations that are funny, smart and heart-warming even. The stories also have a deeper undertone of figuring things on your own, believing in yourself and doing things that have not been done before.
