The Firekeeper

In the Pleistocene era, a young Firekeeper has a handicap and a relationship to the character Fire. This youth, who is of the night, also falls into an impossible love with a woman of the day. At least three dangers present, the fire going out in the depth of winter, humans who hunt other humans, and the dark Spirit of the Long Night, with whom the Firekeeper fights each winter. In the end all these threads come to a head on the longest night of the year.
