A lighted candle in a dark room is very insignificant. Yet, it is noteworthy. That's what this book, "THE FIRE WITHIN: waxing out... living for others," does to you. It has an education, inspiration, challenges, and self-awareness for your strong growth.
The setting is in an Indian village nearby the holy river of Hindus, the Ganges, in the Bihar state of India. It presents the physically disabled girl Lucy, the Protagonist, as the daughter of an alcoholic father and a mother who is obsessed with her mobile and a pet dog.
Change means pain and discomfort. Despite all the contrary circumstances, Lucy holds on to her end goal, to light a candle rather than curse the darkness. She does it with respect and honor for every person and religion. The antagonist Nadira works her level best to humiliate and eliminate her, and it also offers some valuable excitements and surprises.
"The function of every religion ought to make God's presence felt among all people." Lucy induces others to this reality. When people experience God in their personal lives, they can accept other religions, and coexistence is possible. This experience results in good rapport with neighboring countries of differing faiths. It brings out this truth well.
