This study is an attempt to see how possible is it to apply the Finnish Higher Education Model in the Middle East: The case of Oman. This work is part of a Master Degree at the Arts of Learning and Teaching at the University of Roehampton/ UK. in 2018. The study was the outcome of a modest experience in teaching and learning in the Middle East mainly in Oman. The latter experience was a fertile land where I met students and colleagues from all over the world which has enhanced my skills, experiences and reshaped my approach to learning and teaching in particular.
